Crop Production … This eighty-three acre farm is USDA certified organic (MOSA) and features an abundance of tillable fields in and surrounding a valley of rich, healthy soil that has been maintained for organic vegetable production with a focus on rotation, amendments, natural grasses and cover cropping.  Active USDA organic status has been in effect since 2009; Previously, the farm had been fallow since the 1980s, ensuring its pristine, chemical free nature.  The farm also features a tributary creek of the Sugar River, a multi acre forest stand and an abundance of natural wildlife.  The farm is fully equipped with tractor and a range of implements for field, soil and row bed preparation, commercial volume transplanting and harvest. These activities are supported by a fully automated, commercial greenhouse geared toward high volume production of transplant starts.
